【北京共同】日本の女性学研究の第一人者である上野千鶴子さんの著作が中国で大ヒットしている。弱者が弱者のままで尊重されるよう訴える思想が共感を呼んだ。講演を開けば若い女性の申し込みが殺到し、社会現象とも言われる。ブームの背景に男性優位の社会構造への絶望や閉塞感の根深さが透ける。

　中国メディアによると、上野さんの著書はこれまでに20冊以上、中国語に翻訳・出版され、国内の総販売部数は数十万部に上る。22年には、国内最大級の書評サイトで上野さんが「今年の作家」1位に選ばれ、鈴木涼美さんとの共著「往復書簡　限界から始まる」は「今年一押しの本」に。北京大で開いたオンラインの講演には全国から聴講希望者が殺到した。

　ブームのきっかけは東大の祝辞だ。中国の動画サイトで100万回以上再生された。

　支持者の中心は20～30代の高学歴女性。

【北京共同】世界で性の多様性への理解が進む中、中国でLGBTQなど性的少数者を施設に送り込み「転向療法」と称して殴打するなどの虐待が横行していることが11日、分かった。被害者らが暴力の実態を証言した。保守的な考えに基づく偏見に加え、性的少数者の権利擁護を「西側の価値観」と警戒する習近平指導部の姿勢が性差別に拍車をかけている。

　被害者や支援者らによると、転向療法を行う病院や民間施設は、上海市や河北、湖北、四川各省などに100カ所近く点在。入所者の多くが家族に半強制的に連行された10～20代の若者だという。

　「おまえなど気持ち悪くて役立たずだ」。性的指向や性自認の「矯正」を行う施設で、指導官が入所者を殴打したり人前で裸にさせたりした。性的虐待の被害もあった。

　施設では外部との連絡を制限するためスマートフォンやパソコンを没収される。髪は短く切られ、軍隊のような厳しい訓練のほか「男性は働き女性は子を産む」といった伝統的な性別役割の授業を受けさせられる。

Five U.S. aircraft carriers are likely to gather around the Korean Peninsula between April and May, the U.S. Radio Free Asia (RFA) reported on the 8th.

The U.S. aircraft carriers identified by the RFA are the USS Ronald Reagan, USS Theodore Roosevelt, and USS Carl Vinson, as well as the USS Abraham Lincoln and USS George Washington. It is the first time that five U.S. aircraft carriers will gather in the sea near the Korean Peninsula.

According to the RFA, the USS Abraham Lincoln, which departed from San Diego on the 5th, is expected to develop into the western Pacific Ocean near the Korean Peninsula in April after completing combat readiness training.

The USS George Washington, currently in the Atlantic Ocean, is also expected to move to the Western Pacific Ocean near the Korean Peninsula from April to May for a shift with the USS Ronald Reagan, which is being repaired in Yokosuka, Japan.

Since the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier's overseas deployment cycle is six months, the USS Carl Vinson and USS Theodore Roosevelt are expected to carry out missions in the Western Pacific region until April and July, respectively.

Bruce Bennett, a senior researcher at the Rand Institute, a military expert, said, "If five U.S. aircraft carriers actually gather near the Korean Peninsula, they will scare North Korea."
