Alchemically speaking, attempting to be a “member” of an outlawed organisation is utterly desirable for the development and unfolding of one’s physis, of which occult ability, real world skills, counter-intelligence training et al is intrinsic to said unfolding by virtue of attempting to survive in an antinomian way of life. For anyone that understands the esoteric and exoteric purpose of insight roles, the aforementioned statement cannot be disputed, yet many likely will.

This is because the ONA that once was, no longer is. The Septenary System that captured lightning in a bottle by producing a grade of human being that could further the sinister dialectic — via aeonic magick and physical deeds — while being in deep cover status has been tampered with by interpretations, additions and subtractions. This has culminated in a new generation of Sinister adherents that are really no different from the types you see corralling around the Church of Satan and other such Abrahamic masquerading that infects the satanic approach to existence.

It is no longer about blending in amongst the herd to exact great deeds without their knowledge; it is now about how provocative, satanic and “evil” one can be in an ego-driven crucible where the prize is the most attention from people you will never meet — people that don’t matter. I cannot accurately convey how many social media accounts are in existence that reveal the sum total of their involvement with the Sinister Tradition to be nothing more than: (i) taking pictures with Sinister iconography while dressing themselves in military fatigues and national-socialist regalia; and (ii) independent publishers releasing pseudo-intellectual articles on what it means to be a traditional satanist without ever tasting their own blood.

The former point was a propaganda choice made by the Tempel ov Blood — working only for them — due to how they integrated American tactical culture into their mythos; but along the way what was an exception became the rule. The fetishistic obsession with firearms, plate carriers and knives soon became a perfunctory act, one that was accepted by the Sinister consensus as the primary means for identifying an individual as a practitioner of the Sinister Way. Bad actors, charlatans and financial opportunists then proceeded to establish a culture of hoodwinking that saw genuine neophytes of the Tradition traveling a meaningless, mundane labyrinth of broken spheres and questions that only proved how much you studied the so-called “primary sources”, intimating that Adeptship could be proven through some proverbial academic test paper as opposed to connections built, loyalty gained, struggles shared and deeds accomplished.

Unless I have misconstrued the quintessence of the Sinister Tradition it was never meant to forge provocative advertisers or posturing pseudo-academics trying to appease mundane academics, but instead a genuine satanic elite that were capable of concealing themselves within society toward the fulfillment of magickal, practical, effectual deeds that could bring about local and aeonic change.

Now we find ourselves in 2026 era horrificus with a state of affairs so embarrassing, shameful and indolent, that mundanes laugh at how comically overt followers of the Sinister path have become. There was never any coming back from this — our collective regressing to The Fool — without an external event that would see the Sinister Tradition once again become highly dangerous to follow, a path with real world consequences that would necessitate shrenching, connections and human networks, adaptability and the learning of valuable and unique skills to survive the alchemical journey from Moon to Saturn, as is taught through the Sinister archetype of Conrad Robury and other such Satanic and Baphometic atavisms (qv. Deofel Quartet).

The only regrettable outcome of this final public era is that those genuine initiates whom have had their identities exposed — consequences for the role played in the Great Work — will unfortunately be the first doors where the Magian inquisition will come knocking.
